BIOGRAPHY

This unholy Death Metal horde was found 1999 in Sao Paulo. Three years later in 2002 the debut demo “Satisfação em Costurar um Corpo Retalhado com Arame Farpado” saw the light of day. 2004 the second demo “Pedofilia” was recorded and clearly proofed the evolution of the band. In the year 2006 ANARKHON was ready to record its debut full-length “Obesidade Mórbida” and signed a deal with Malignant Art but then Pericles Hooper (the vocalist and one of the founding members) suddenly died. This tragedy slowed the band a bit down but did not stop those unholy Brazillian Death Metal warriors. After a short break the musicians deceided to continue as a four-piece with guitar player Aaron Romero (also a founding member) taking over the vocal duties.

In the following year 2007 Malignant Art released the debut album in Brazil, but to spread their dark and brutal tunes over the Brazilians border ANARKHON joined forces with OBSCURE DOMAIN productions. So “Obesidade Mórbida” will be re-released in May/June 2009 to show the world that Brazil still is one of the greatest breeding places for Death Metal.
