UNHOLY TERROR 'zine was a pure fuckin' Death Metal print zine created by the two Death Metal enthusiasts Andi and Hacker in 1998. The first issue was released early 1999 and the fourth and last issue in 2003.

"It's a shame!!! Nearly every 'zine and mag is wasting paper for hysterical screaming Mickey Mouse lookalikes from the Scandinavian woods, skateboard gangsters from Brooklyn, hardcore homeboys or bands which want to sell us depressive feelings, gay keyboards, fake atmosphere and wailing female vocals as DEATH METAL. That's the reason why the UNHOLY TERROR 'zine was born. We will hold up the banner of true DEATH METAL and pay homage to the mighty underground scene from all over the world. This 'zine is dedicated to all the great and glorious Metal Knights that sold their souls, against all trends and fashions, to the darkest and most brutal kind of Heavy Metal. To support the true 'Warriors of DEATH METAL' is our unholy aim. Of course there is no space for wimps, poseurs and scum like that . . ."

Man, that was 1998 when I wrote those lines for the first flyer and when I started UNHOLY TERROR as a printed underground publication. But time changes and now (2010), twelve years and four printed issues later, I'm fed up, disappointed and really pissed off ... mainly because of:

...postal services... you're so fucking exepensive... the price for the postage (world) is higher than the price for a copy of UNHOLY TERROR.

...labels/record companies that send tons of crap which definitely isn't suitable for UNHOLY TERROR

...labels/record companies which tried to blackmail me and tried to force me to do interviews in trade of bying ad space

...bands which can't stand criticism. Boys, it's just my oppinion and if I don't like your stuff who really cares ???

...underground "supporters" which can't afford a few bucks to buy a fanzine or a demo but spending tons of money for booze

Since issue four many things in my life went wrong and I couldn't spend time for creating another issue... and I lost the motivation to spend my money... I never had the intention to earn money with my zine and I absolutely never did, but I'm not willing to waste my money anymore... Then Andi decided not to be part of our zine anymore because he lost his dedication and passion for Metal... So I tried to continue UNHOLY TERROR as a web zine but had to see that I don't have enough motivation and time for running a webzine... and I'm not the biggest fan of web zines... So UNHOLY TERROR is dead !!!

PS: that is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange æons, even death may die....

... so maybe one day there will be another print issue of UNHOLY TERROR but not in the near future ...
